The Electrical Contractors’ Insurance Company Limited (ECIC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Electrical Contractors’ Association, one of the foremost trade bodies in the UK.

We are a risk carrying general insurance company, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

Founded in 1976 to insure members of the Association, we have since broadened our client base and now provide insurance products for contractors and affinity groups across the UK electrical engineering and building services sector, specialist surety bonds and, via our new facilitas division, web-enabled SME package insurances.

We work closely with professional insurance intermediaries, leading trade associations and construction businesses of all sizes.
